The news for today is that Amazon could be releasing a [T] within the next 3-6 months. Here’s what we’ve heard so far:

There have been murmurings of an Amazon smartphone for some years, and now it looks as though all the speculation might be leading to the device leaving behind its mythical status. A new report today cites KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, and he has now stated that an Amazon smartphone will be introduced within three to six months. …
As the above article mentions, the phone will supposedly be flouting six cameras, to be used for some sort of gesture of control. We’re still unsure as to what this really means, but this article expounds on it a little more:

Additionally, this phone may end up being more affordable than others. According to Gadget Insiders,
“[T]he Amazon phone is codenamed “Project Aria,” and it will be an extremely aggressively-priced evice, with pricing set to a “a fraction” of the iPhone 6’s off-contract price.”
Still, Amazon has yet to confirm any of this information. So we’re still in the speculative stage.
